Myanmar Flooding Update: Support Needed for Women and Girls

Myanmar's recent floods have displaced over a million people across 70 townships. Women and girls are among the most vulnerable, facing urgent needs for safe housing, medical care, clean water, education, and economic recovery.

Key priorities include:

1. Safe, Secure Shelters to reduce risks of violence
 2. Access to Clean Water & Hygiene Kits to maintain health and dignity
 3. Educational Support to counter early marriage and child labor risks
 4. Livelihood Assistance to support recovery, especially for women in agriculture

With restricted access and limited resources, expanding support is essential to meet these critical gender-specific needs.
