The   Global Risks Report 2025 , based on the   Global Risks Perception Survey 2024-2025 (GRPS) ,  is produced by the   World Economic Forum   with contributions from   Marsh McLennan   and   Zurich Insurance Group .  It incorporates insights from over 900 global experts surveyed in September and October 2024, as well as input from 59 World Economic Forum colleagues and 96 experts across academia, business, government, and civil society, gathered through interviews, workshops, and community meetings held from April to November 2024. The report stresses rising global challenges, such as economic instability, climate change, and geopolitical tensions. It warns of increasing market volatility, climate disasters, and deepening societal divisions fueled by misinformation and inequality. Similar to the 80/20 rule, in MEARL, a few key efforts often yield the majority of the results.  By prioritizing the activities with the most impact, we can optimize our time and resources. However, this does not mean other efforts are insignificant—each one plays a role in the broader context. It's about finding the right balance to achieve the most effective outcomes.
